Hindu College Colombo Alumni Association of North America “fw;whq;F xOFf” Newsletter - 03/2006 Annual Dinner 2006 In spite of their busy schedules, 240 guests attended the last alumni’s “2006 Dinner Dance”. Scrumptious food catered by Vimika Giri, Good live Music by Mega Tuners, Excellent DJ service by Guruparan and striking interior table decoration by Pine Valley Banquet Hall made the event more dynamic and proved that we are second to none. Rose gifts captivated our ladies’ attention. Raffle and Auction prizes attracted our guests. Thanks to Vimika Giri’s proficient bartenders, we made lots of bar sales. Well its’ simply the best event we’ve had in many years. Our thanks go to all the sponsors of raffle and auction prizes. Special thanks, to Sutha Sivaramalingam for live music sponsorship and Ramanan Ramachandran for sponsoring Dell computer for auction. And! Last but not the least, Thanks to all our members, friends and families for your enthusiastic participation. Cricket July 23rd 2006, we have set this date for our Hindu College Inter-House Cricket Tournament, which will be held at Henry Hudson Senior Public School. As we mentioned in our previous correspondences, instead of asking for donation, we want our members with business or similar interest to advertise in our web site. The cost is only $50.00 per year. And we will run them for you uninterrupted for one whole year. Now we are not saying this is the best way to promote your business or interest. But we can say one thing for sure, if a member is to surf our website looking for any particular service, then that sale is definitely yours. What is better than a known Face? Our objective is much more than just advertisement. Our intention is to promote our joy of your accomplishments. With your ads we just want to say the whole world “Hey! We are proud of our family”.
