Dear Alumni Members;

 

“All Island Soccer Tournaments”

 

Hindu College OBA Colombo recently conducted an All Island Soccer Tournament among the district champions. 24 teams participated including schools from Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Mannar, Vavuniya, and Amparai. Zahira College Colombo became the Champion and St. Benedict Kotahena runners up.

 

Our association committed to be the main sponsor for the entire tournament; since most of our sponsors did not fulfill their pledge we were only able to subsidise part of the cost. Our special thanks to Janakan Chandradas from Vancouver for his contribution toward this tournament. Friends, in future let’s be more responsible.

 

“Annual General Meeting”

 

The annual general meeting of Hindu College Colombo, Alumni Association of North America will be held in December 2007. Date & Venue will be announced soon. We are encouraging young junior members to take responsibility in the committee. If any member interested and willing to work toward growth of our alumni association, please contact us at alumni@hinducollegecolombo.com.

 

“Photo Gallery”

 

Friends, we are created a new photo folder in our alumni website, called “School Memories”, where we want to add our school photos. If you have any old school photos (preferred group photos), please send it to us, we will scan the photo and will return the original. For more information, contact us at alumni@hinducollegecolombo.com. Please note, selecting photos to the photo gallery final decision is up to the committee.

As an additional service to our members, the committee has decided to include obituary notices of your cared ones in our web site.
