“23 days and counting………. to the 2008 picnic”

 

20^th of July is fast approaching and it is a day to bring the family out to spend at the splendid Darlington park (http://www.ontarioparks.com/english/darl.html). Meet friends and colleagues, eat, play, swim and make it a day in 2008 to remember.

 

We sincerely thank all the members who did RSVP for our inaugural picnic email. We encourage the rest to do the same. Please respond to picnic2008@hinducollegecolombo.com at the earliest.

 

 “Association registered as a Not-For-Profit Organization”

 

Our application to the Ministry of Government Consumer Services has been accepted and now the Hindu College Colombo, Alumni Association of North America is a registered Not-For-Profit organization.

 

“Help The School – Update the computer facilities”

 

The committee has decided to undertake the responsibility of refurbishing the computer laboratory in The School. The existing aging computers are to be replaced with newer models.

Please come forward with your ideas and thoughts to the Committee at alumni@hinducollegecolombo.com

Yet another call for membership. We need your support to continue our efforts. If you have not already signed up, please do so.

 “Business advertisements on the alumni web site”

 

We have received encouraging responses for the advertisement campaign that has been running on the alumni web site. We thank all those who have responded. We ask the remaining members to pledge in their dues for posting their businesses on the web site. The annual fee for this campaign is only $50.00.
